Federal High court sitting in Kaduna has slated the 30 August 2022 as the final day for hearing and judgement on the case filed by the Senatorial Aspirant in Kaduna and Sardaunan Badarawa under the platform of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, Usman Ibrahim, who challenged the outcome of the senatorial primaries in Kaduna Central and sought justice for a rerun election.

Speaking to Invicta news correspondent, David Vincent Ejeh, the counsel of the plaintiff, Samuel Atun (SAN), gave a synopsis of the hearing today.

Also speaking, the counsel for defendant, barrister Echoja Nelson, who has been absent for the first four hearings said that all legal processes have been adopted.

It would be recalled that the hearing was adjourned four different times on the grounds of absence of the defendant’s counsel.

However, report from the hearing on 19 July 2022,  said the court would pass judgement on the 30 August, 2022.
