Schools in Kaduna State urged to encourage reading, writing Competition.

Primary and Secondary schools in Kaduna State have been encouraged to promote reading and writing competition so as develop better students in the society for national development.
The Kaduna State Commissioner of Education, Mrs Halima Lawal who was represented by Mercy Bainta Kude stated this at a Super Spellers and Creative Writers Competition organized by Danbo lnternational Schools, Kaduna.
Speaking on the essence of the quiz competition, the Administrator of Danbo lnternational Schools, lnnocent Afogure said it was aimed at inculcating the reading culture towards grassroots development of the young students.
Some of the students who emerged winners of the competition, spoke to lnvicta FM Correspondent, Ango Bally.
Then competition organized for both primary and secondary schools, had other participants like Zamani College, ECWA Goodnews Schools and Saint Annes Secondary School. Others are: Excel Universal Schools, Saint Michael Anglican College and Classical lnternational School. Winners received trophies and other consolation prices.
