Right Honourable Isa Ashiru clinches Kaduna PDP Governorship ticket.

Right Honourable Isa Mohammed Ashiru on Thursday emerged the winner of the Kaduna State PDP Governorship primary.
He polled 414 votes, more than half of the accredited number of voters to come top of the election, while Muhammad Sani Sidi came second with 260 votes.
Former Governor, Muhktar Ramalan Yero trailed far behind third with 28 votes, while Barrister Sani Abbas came fourth with 15 votes. Haruna Saeed Kajuru AG, got 11 votes while Senator Shehu Sani came last with 2 votes.
A total of 760 Delegates were accredited to vote in the election, with 30 invalid votes recorded.
Honourable lsa Ashiru, a former two-time member of the House of Representatives, was the also the PDP standard bearer for 2019 Governorship election. He was also a two-time member of the Kaduna State Assembly.
