Lewis Hamilton allowed to wear jewellery in Monaco GP.

Written by on May 27, 2022

Lewis Hamilton will be able to race in Sunday’s Monaco Formula One Grand Prix wearing jewellery after his exemption was extended.

Hamilton was told in Miami earlier this month that his nose stud must be taken out for the seventh round of the campaign in Monte Carlo.

The seven-time world champion had said the nose stud cannot be easily removed.

But F1’s ruling body, the FIA, who are enforcing the jewellery clampdown on safety grounds, have granted Hamilton a new deadline of June 30.

This will be three days before the British Grand Prix.
