Terrorists who attacked and kidnapped the 28 March 2022 Abuja-Kaduna bound train passengers have threatened to, within seven days, start killing the passengers in captivity if their demands are not met.

They called the government to, as a matter of urgency, release their children allegedly kept in a Yola detention facility in Adamawa State as they do not need money.

The leader of the terrorists identified as Abu Barra, issued the threat when they spoke with the spokesman, Media Consultant of Islamic cleric, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, Malam Tukur Mamu on the phone, who the terrorist believe is a credible source of delivering the message to the government, the families of the victims and Nigerians in general

He threatened that within seven days if the government does not respond to their demands who they believe is not sincere with negotiation will stop feeding the victims and will start slaughtering them one after the other and if the government doesn’t respond after that, then Nigerians should forget about using the Abuja-Kaduna rail line as well as the Kaduna-Abuja high way.

Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to take the threat made by bandits who abducted the Abuja-Kaduna train passengers seriously.
