Nigerian Girls Guides Association, engages Public in education projects, leadership, advocacy programs on girls, young women.

A Girl child advocacy Group, Nigerian Girls Guides Association, has engaged in education projects, leadership and advocacy programs that address contemporary issues concerning girls and young women.
The State Commissioner, Nigerian Girls Guides Association, Nasara Danmaida-Ifere, spoke on the effort that the association is putting in place to ensure the continuous voters registration for young women.
Also speaking, the keynote speaker and secretary of the Women Mentoring and Leadership Initiative, WAMFOI, Kaduna state, Mrs. Theresa Okpanachi, called on women to pick up their voter’s card and take their active position in the society.
An INEC official, Mrs. Evelyn Wyok said the registration was for those who from 18 years and above or those who have lost their cards as result fire outbreak or people who have the need for new ones, due to change of location.
Women and young ladies are therefore advised to register to vote as it is their right.
