Written by on May 18, 2022

The arrest of the Accountant General of the Federation Ahmed Idris alleged to have looted 80billions naira among other fraudulent activities going on in the country is a stain to the anti-corruption stand of the All Progressive Congress (APC) target.

In a chat on Invicta’s Political Programme Perspectives, the Former President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) and also a Human Right Activist Mr. Aluko Daniels, said that the best way to fight corruption is by preventing it.

He further added that until the government set aside negligence and proffer mechanisms to fight crimes and execute them appropriately, worst things will continue to happen in the country.

The Human Right activist called on Nigerians to think twice as most of the people purchasing the presidential nomination forms are not worth it noting that Nigerian’s needs competent, credible and accountable leaders because they deserve better come 2023.
