President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday told Southeast leaders that the court will determine the fate of pro-separatist leader, Nnamdi Kanu and Igbo other youths in detention across the country.
He stated this during a meeting with leaders from the region at the New Government House Abakaliki, capital of the State during a two-day working visit.
The reaction is coming after the Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the South East, Reverend Father Abraham Nwali, on behalf of the South East leaders in his address at the Ebonyi State Stakeholders’ Forum held at the Government House in Abakaliki, made the plea.
Buhari said he holds the view that Kanu’s matter should be properly adjudicated in the law court.
