PDP reschedules NEC meeting, governorship, presidential screening appeal.

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the reinstatement of the dissolved Alhaji Shehu Sagagi-led Kano State executive committee of the party.

The party, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Debo Ologunagba in Abuja said that the decision was taken after an extensive deliberation by the NWC and in obedience to a court order.

The NWC also declared Mr Silas Onu as the Ebonyi Chairman of the party in in obedience to a similar judgment of the court.

Still in the same vein the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has shifted it National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting earlier scheduled for May 5 to Tuesday, May 10.

The party disclosed this on Monday night in Abuja in a statement issued by its National Secretary, Sen. Samuel Anyanwu.

Similarly, the PDP National Working Committee (NWC) also rescheduled the screening appeal for all aspirants for governorship and president from Tuesday, May 3 to Wednesday, May 4.

The party, in a separate statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Mr Debo Ologunagba,in Abuja on Monday night, said that the adjustment in date was occasioned by the Eid-Fitir celebration.
