The Superbike Clubs’ Association of Nigeria (SCAN) held their annual Nationwide Bikers Safety Campaign (NBSC) coordinated by Power-bike Community to sensitize other road users on the importance of road safety and how to share the road safely among road users.
Speaking to Invicta’s News Correspondent, David Vincent Ejeh, the Public Relations Officer of the Superbike Clubs’ Association of Nigeria (SCAN), Godfrey Enyikioya Ojwulu Pointed out that the biker’s safety initiative was conceived by the group of motorcyclists to create a safe ecosystem for all.
Also speaking, a KASTELIA officer, Danlami Umar Abubakar, said the initiative will promote a good image of motorcyclists to the public as well as educate all classes of road users.
One of the motorcyclists who is also an ENT Surgeon with Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital, Doctor Muhammed Mainasara, said that the goal is to instill discipline, proper organization and safety while riding among member clubs.
The campaign cut across major town in Kaduna metropolis, starting from Murtala Square to Kawo Bridge, Naira Round-about, Command Junction, Kasupda Junction, Refinery Junction and ending at the Narayi Bus stop.
