Golden State Warriors beats Memphis Grizzlies in NBA play off Western Conference semi final

The Golden State Warriors took a 1-0 lead in their National Basketball Association (NBA) play-off Western Conference semi-final with a narrow 117-116 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.
Klay Thompson scored a three-pointer to put the Golden State Warriors ahead late on in the game, only to then miss two free throws.
However, the Memphis Grizzlies guard, Ja Morant, could not convert a contested lay-up at the buzzer as the Golden State Warriors held on for the memorable win.
In the meantime, two time NBA’s Most Valuable Player Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded twenty-four points, thirteen rebounds and twelve assists to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 101-89 Eastern Conference semi win over the Boston Celtics.
