The threat to the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the 2023 general elections has been generating talking points as a legal luminary, Barrister Abubakar El-Zubair says he is saddened by the turn of events.
He was speaking in a chat on Invicta’s Political Programme Perspectives where he said that Nigerian government lacks directions.
He further added that the government has not done or taken any political decisions that will favor and upgrade the lives of Nigerians, which as a matter of urgency must be attended to including assurances over the electioneering period.
Barrister El-Zubair, also said that Nigerian’s need to be fully enlighten on the way forward by shying away from religious bigotry, zoning, and tribal differences, in other for peace and unity to thrive.
