Police in Manchester, on Thursday, searched Harry Maguire’s house, after the Manchester United captain received a bomb threat.
England defender Maguire, who lives with his fiancée and two children, has endured a difficult season with club and country, but it is not known who made the threat.
The 29-year-old’s home was searched by Cheshire Constabulary to ensure his safety.
Report says the bomb scare is the latest issue for Maguire, who has been subjected to criticism from football specialists and boos from England fans this season.
