Chef Chappy, Chef Ox brings 10 commandments to Kaduna

A Kaduna based Culinary Hub, known as “Ten Commandments of Food” with focus on food innovation, has called on youths to harness the opportunity of building their culinary skills and become self-employed.
Speaking with Invicta FM’s News Correspondent, David Vincent Ejeh, the lead facilitator, Chef Chappy, said some food brands are now creating innovation labs, designed to help young people in culinary businesses to draw in consumers through new experiences and distinct menu items.
The second facilitator, Chef Ox, stressed on the need for economic diversification looking at the issue facing the academic sector in the country and the ever increasing needs of people to be met in the hospitality sector.
The Participants shared their experiences and what they look forward to in the course of the exercise.
The Organisers say the engagement was necessitated by the shift in the industry, as brands seek to meet consumer expectations of diversity and distinction in choice.
Report says that, in the course of the 10-day practical training, the scheme of work covers home, continental and intercontinental dishes, kitchen tricks, tips, among others.
