Commissioner, Budget and Planning Commission Kaduna State calls for all-inclusive participation of Civil Society, Media in Budget planning, implementation.

The Commissioner, Budget and Planning Commission Kaduna State Hajiya Ummi Yusuf Aboki has called for the need of an all-inclusive participation of Civil Society and the Media in Budget planning and implementation.
She made the call while speaking on Wednesday in a media launch engagement on increasing citizens’ awareness and participation in the budget process to improve service delivery organized by Budget and Planning Commission in collaboration with Jalad Media Concept.
Speaking on the medium term extermination framework, the permanent secretary, Bashir Mahammed, highlighted the key elements involved as well the objectives.
In his remarks, the team lead of Jalad Media Concept and a media strategist, Mr. Joshua Joseph spoke on the need for open partnership and the need to improve the linkages between the media and government partners.
In attendance were various Kaduna based media houses and personnel provided imputes on how to strengthen the capacity of media professionals to understand the budget process.
