Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN), has assured Nigerians of the restoration of peace and a more prosperous future for all regardless of current challenges as Christians in Nigeria join other faithful worldwide to celebrate Easter.
Prof. Osinbajo stated this on Sunday in a chat with journalists shortly after the Easter Sunday service at the State House Chapel, Aso Villa, Abuja.
Meanwhile the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has congratulated Christians on Easter, calling for unity and peace among Nigerians.
He made the call via a statement issued by his media aide, Lanre Lasisi, to commemorate the resurrection of Christ from the dead.
Gbajabiamila, who noted the period calls for sober reflection and dedication to nationhood, urged Christians to be their brothers’ keepers at all times.
