Southern Kaduna Peoples Union secures scholarship for 14 orphans.

The Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) has secured scholarship with Salem University, Kogi state to at least 14 orphans who are victims of recurrent attacks in some parts of the state.
The SOKAPU National President, Honourable Jonathan Asake stated this on Friday while addressing Journalists at the SOKAPU Secretariat, after which the contingent departed for Abuja.
Speaking further, Honourable Asake thanked Salem Ministry for giving hope to the hopeless in the society, at this critical time where many displaced persons were in dire need of support to move on with life.
Some of the beneficiaries of the scholarship and their guardian were full of gratitude for the gesture given them by SOKAPU and Salem Ministry.
The first batch of the scholarship students is drawn from Giwa, Kachia, Chikun and Kajuru Local Government areas, while the second batch consist of Jema’a, Kaura, Kauru and Zangon-Kataf councils respectively.
