Ronald Koeman will become the manager of the Netherlands for a second time, after the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Koeman, aged 59, will replace 70-year-old Louis van Gaal, who on Sunday, revealed that he is receiving treatment for prostate cancer.
Koeman, who was manager of English Premier League sides; Southampton and Everton, was in charge of the Dutch national side between 2018 and 2020.
It would be recalled that Koeman, a defender, who played seventy-eight times for the national team, got the job in February 2018, replacing Dick Advocaat after he had resigned following a failure to qualify for that year’s World Cup in Russia.
