Nigerians live in fear despite Government position on relative peace – Jide Ojo

Nigerians are still in fear as insecurity looms across the country with the government doing little or no actions to curtail the activities of bandits and kidnappers in the country.

This was according to a Columnist with the Punch News Paper and a Commentator on National and International Issues, Mr. Jide Ojo, who Spoke on Invicta’s Flagship Programme Perspectives.

According to Mr. Ojo, it is the negligence from the government that has brought the country to this point.

He further added that, it is hardship and extreme level of poverty in the country that has led many to indulge in criminal activities.

The columnist also added that on the issues of self-defense, citizens need to be very careful because of lack of professional training.

Mr. Ojo also said that Nigerians are mentally stressed with all that is happening and the high rate of corruption while calling on the government to give Nigerians the change they promised.
