A member of the KIF 3rd Cohort, Zaliha Lawal, said the hearing aids were provided with the support of Ronchess Global Resources Plc, Ear Care Foundation and National Ear Care Centre.
Lawal recalled that the fellows had in 2021 provided ear care services to 200 people in Badikko community in Kaduna.
Speaking on behalf of the beneficiaries, Mrs Adewumi Lucia, appreciated the Fellows for the gesture, saying it would give them a good life.
Dr Bashir Mohammed of the National Ear Care Centre said, this is a commendable act because each of these hearing aids cost 160,000 to 200,000 naira.
Mohammed said the beneficiaries will be taught how to take care of the hearing aids, including keeping it away from water, and advised people to report cases at earliest stage to avoid hearing loss.
