Unity Bank Plc reiterates commitment to partnering with Maize Association of Nigeria (MAAN).

The Management of Unity Bank Plc. has reiterated its commitment to partnering with Maize Association of Nigeria (MAAN) towards the growth and development of the country’s economy.
Unity Bank Plc. Executive Director, Usman Abdulkadir, stated this in a goodwill message on the occasion of the unveiling of the 2nd maize pyramids and the 30th anniversary of the MAAN.
The bank said the pyramids were a testament to the efforts at making Nigeria a net exporter of the product and ensuring food sufficiency in the country.
It commended the Governor of the Central Bank, CBN, Dr Godwin Emefiele, for the laudable initiative and bringing back the pyramids with a view to strengthening the economy.
The Bank equally praised the President of the Maize Association of Nigeria, as well as the resilience of the farmers, describing the partnership as worthwhile.
