Following a seven-day notice of vacation issued on Friday 12th March by the Kaduna state urban planning and development agency (KASUPDA) to shop owners at the Narayi high cost junction area, the demolition has commenced leading to different bouts of emotions.
According to reports, the demolition is carried out by various shop owners who are trying to sell off some valuables to raise money that will facilitate their relocation before KASUPDA visits the site this Friday while speaking to Invicta’s news correspondent David Vincent Ejeh at the site.
Another shop owner complained of hoodlums and others exploiting the opportunity to steal valuables because no government agency is present.
However, the Sarkin Narayi and Sarkin Samarin High cost were present at the site but chose to remain neutral on the development.
