Kaduna State Deputy Governor calls for women inclusion in all spheres of societal development.

Kaduna State Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, has described the campaign by the Centre for Communication and Social lmpact, tagged: “Hope, Action and Progress for Women and Youth in Politics”, as timely and in line with global call for women to be carried along in all spheres of societal development.
Dr Hadiza Balarabe stated this, on Thursday, at an event to mark this year’s International Women’s Day in Kaduna, organized by the Centre for Communication and Social lmpact, CCSI, Abuja.
On her part, the Executive Director, Centre for Communication and Social lmpact, CCSI, Babafunke Fagbemi, said the campaign was out to sensitize and change the narrative of the society on women and youth in politics, as partners for development.
Also speaking, the Country Director of Action Aid, represented by Fumilayo Oyefusi, called on the National Assembly to represent and reconsider the Gender Bill that could not scale through last week, so as to address the gender imbalance in the country.
The event was attended by women and youth across political parties in Kaduna, who made useful contributions in charting the cause on women and youth participation towards a better outing in the 2023 general elections.
