Slovakia chapter of Nigerian in Diaspora Organisation, commends Nigerian Embassy in Vienna

The Slovakia chapter of the Nigerian in Diaspora Organisation (NIDO), has commended the Nigerian Embassy in Vienna, for its support and commitment in the evacuation process of Nigerians from Ukraine.
The President, Slovakia chapter of NIDO, Mr. Jossy Ibe, gave the commendation in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja.
He said the Nigerian Embassy in Vienna has been educating the Nigerians on what to do and also ensuring that all the citizens were evacuated back home.
According to him, the war in Ukraine has strongly impacted Slovakia with more than 333 Nigerians who fled into the country since February 24 over Russia’s invasion.
Ibe said about 31 students who fled Ukraine had been assisted by members of the Slovakia chapter of NIDO and other stakeholders to travel home before the commencement of evacuation by the Federal Government.
