OONI OF IFE OFFERS CASH GRANT TO WOMEN

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has offered cash grants to over 50 women trainees to start up their own small scale Adire clothing business.
Chief Executive Officer, Adire Oodua Textile Hub Ronke Ademiluyi, in Ile-Ife, Osun, disclosed this to News men on Wednesday in Lagos.
According to her, the traditional ruler empowered the trainees in commemoration of the one-year anniversary of the adire hub.
Ademiluyi, also the founder, African Fashion Show, said that the recipients received cash grants ranging from 25,000 to 100,000 naira each.
She added that the funding was a grant and not a loan to be paid back.
