ICDO: Media, Stakeholders called to educate Public on synergizing with security operatives.

In commemoration of this year’s World Civil Defence Day, the media and relevant stakeholders have been urged to educate the general public on the need to synergize with security operatives in combating the menace of insecurity threatening the unity and national co-existence.
Kaduna State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence, NSCDC, Dr Godwin Miebi, in his speech, said while security is everyone’s business, the civilians should all see security operatives as partners in progress and feed them with relevant information for collective safety.
He reminded the Personnel of the confidence and trust the society reposed in the corps, as another avenue to justify the trust by stepping up total commitment to duties, maintain high level of professionalism.
Dr Miebi pointed out that Kaduna State Command of the NSCDC has over fifty-four personnel in the Female Armed Squad, adding that the Corps has the Rapid Respond Squad and also the safe School Initiative.
The NSCDC State Commandant has been collaborating with other sister agencies in combating crime and criminalities in the State.
