Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro, said his country will remain neutral over Russia’s invasion of neighbouring Ukraine.
The far-right Bolsonaro visited Russia on February 16 to meet with President Vladimir Putin just as Russian leaders were finalizing plans for their full-scale attack.
According to Bolsonaro, during the visit, the Russian president confided some secret issues about Ukraine to him in their lengthy conversation.
He, however, said that he told Mr. Putin that Brazil will maintain a position of neutrality in the war, and that it remains in favour of peace.
