RB Leipzig of Germany twice came from a goal down to secure a draw with La Liga high-flyers Real Sociedad.
Real Sociedad scored first when Robin Le Normand converted Diego Rico’s cross, but the prolific Christopher Nkunku equalised for the Bundesliga outfit before the break.
Second-half penalties from Real Sociedad’s Mikel Oyarzabal and then RB Leipzig’s Emil Forsberg ensured the match ended in a 2-2 draw.
Elsewhere, Europa League specialists Sevilla began their hunt for a seventh title with a 3-1 win over Dinamo Zagreb as Ivan Rakitic scored first from the penalty spot, but Mislav Orsic equalised for Dinamo Zagreb on the stroke of half-time.
However, there was still time for Lucas Ocampos and Anthony Martial to score goals of their own before the break.
