The Zonal Technical Director, Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria, Abdulsalam Ahmed Jere has promised that the organization will collaborate with secondary schools towards talents hunts in the development of sports professionals in Nigeria.
Jere stated this on Monday at the finals of Mock World Cup organized by Danbo International Schools, Kaduna.
On his part, the Director, Kaduna State Ministry of Sports Development, Hassan Buba who commended the school for sports development, enjoined all schools in state to emulate the concept to make sports talents available for national development.
The Administrator of Danbo lntetnational Schools, lnnocen Agofure, spoke on the concept of the Mock World Cup.
Team Brazil beat Team Nigeria 6-5 on penalties to win the Mock World Cup, after a 3-3 at full time. While a delegation from Kebbi State Government, represented by the Personal Assistant to the Government, Farouk Aliyu Yaro presented hundred thousand Naira and fifty thousand Naira to the winner and runner up, respectively.
