Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has condemned the military coup in Burkina Faso.
Professor Osinbajo made the condemnation after attending the ECOWAS Extraordinary Summit on the political situations in Burkina Faso, Mali and Guinea, in the capital of Ghana, Accra.
According to him, there was no excuse to justify what happened in Burkina Faso, which is a West African nation.
Professor Osinbajo, who represented President Muhammadu Buhari at the Summit, also said talks were ongoing with the military junta in Burkina Faso to return to civil rule.
