Former Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, says he does not believe in regional consensus but a national consensus for the 2023 Presidency.
Lamido, who disclosed this on Thursday, also said that the issue of zoning was a one-time thing designed to solve a particular problem, which, according to him, has already been solved.
According to him, the Afenifere and other tribal groups are not active within the political scene, which has made them demand for regional consensus.
He also said he was willing to step aside and support young people to occupy political offices but that they may lack the wisdom and experiences of the older ones.
