A magistrate court, sitting in Kaduna, has, on Tuesday, adjourned the case between the children of a late former Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Luka N. Yusuf and their maternal uncle, Mr. Emmanuel Yusuf to the 22nd of February, 2022.

The case was adjourned to 22nd February, 2022 after counsel to the defendant, who failed to appear in court, sent a letter requesting for an adjournment on the grounds that he had another case at the High Court.

Barrister D.B. Kwajaffa, of Mr. Hali Chambers, who is the counsel for the claimant, Ms. Bilhatu Beauty Yusuf, spoke to newsmen after the court sitting.

Ms. Beauty Yusuf, had on behalf of her siblings, filed a suit with the following number; KDC/734CC/21, seeking recovery of their late father’s property presently occupied by Mr. Emmanuel Yusuf.

The landed property is located at Number 15 Bourmediene Road, Narayi High Cost, Kaduna, where Barrister Kwajaffa had in the suit stated that the claimant is entitled to the possession of the premises which they defendant occupies as a licensee and whose licence was revoked on 25th October, 2021.
