Kaduna residents bare their minds over President Buhari’s visit.

As the president, Muhammadu Buhari comes to Kaduna State for a two-day state visit, from Thursday 20th to Friday 21st to commission some projects in Kafanchan, Kaduna and Zaria under the Urban renewal project residents of the state have been speaking about the visit.
During the visit, President Buhari will inaugurate some of the completed Urban Renewal Projects Executed by Governor Nasiru El-rufai led administration to improve the wellbeing of people in the three major cities of the state.
Some of the projects to be commissioned in Kaduna include the Kawo Flyover Bridge with three Ground Rotaries, Dualisation of Yakubu Gowon Way and its underpass, Aliyu Makama Dualisation Road in Barnawa, Rigasa Dualisation Road that links to train station, a remodeled Murtala Square Kaduna, Rigasa Primary School among other key projects.
Some Residents of Kaduna expressed their excitement to the development, appreciates and commend efforts of Kaduna State government.
From a stand point of another resident, he opines that the visit is not necessary as there are other issues of national urgency that the president should attend to and not commissioning of projects in a state looking at the cost of the visit.
Residents are however appealing to the President and Kaduna State government to look into the issue of insecurity, economic challenges and completion of ongoing projects before end of administration.
