Katsina State Police Command operatives successfully repelled terrorists’ attack at Badole village, Kurfi Local Government Area.

The Katsina State Police Command on Monday revealed that its operatives successfully repelled terrorists’ attack at Badole village, in the Kurfi Local Government Area of the state over the weekend.
The spokesman for the Command, Gambo Isah, said in a statement on Monday that the terrorists had swooped on the village early Saturday morning where they, amongst others, rustled an unspecified number of domestic animals.
Isah added that many terrorists were killed in the process while all the rustled animals were recovered.

Meanwhile the people of Eziuba Ubudom in Njaba local government area of Imo State have been thrown into fear following the beheading of one Nnoruoka Onyeokwu, a 65 years old man by some yet to be identified gunmen.
Confirming the incident, the Interim Management Committee, IMC Chairman of Njaba local government area, Mr. Emeka Iheanacho said the act was regrettable.
He said Gov Hope Uzodinma was doing everything possible to curtail the spate of attacks in the areaassured that the perpetrators would be brought to book soonest.
However, efforts to get the reaction of the Police spokesperson for the state, Michael Abattam on the matter proved abortive as he requested time to confirm the development.
