Presidency felicitates with Officers, Soldiers on Armed Forces Remembrance Day.

Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has urged Nigerians to challenge the evils in the nations as a mark of honour for the country’s fallen heroes.
Professor Osinbajo said this at the Interdenominational Church service held at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, as part of activities to mark the 2022 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
The Vice President was represented at the occasion by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha.
In his remarks, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor commended the Federal Government’s commitment to the welfare of troops on the battlefront.
General Irabor also advised Nigerians to continuously support the efforts of the Armed Forces in fighting terrorism in the Northeast and other security challenges in other parts of the country.

In the same vein, the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Faruk Yahaya, has felicitated with officers, soldiers and their families on the occasion of the Armed Forces Remembrance Day Celebration 2022.
Lieutenant General Yahaya conveyed his felicitation in a Goodwill Message dated Friday 7 January 2022 at the Army Headquarters, Abuja.
In his goodwill message, the General noted that the Celebration is organised annually in recognition of Nigeria’s fallen heroes; gallant men and women, who paid the supreme price in the defence of peace, unity and prosperity of the country and the world at large.
He also promised that the sacrifices of the fallen heroes will never be forgotten and prayed for the repose of their souls.
