President Muhammadu Buhari restates commitment to remaining resolute with programmes despite challenges.

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that despite the myriad of challenges facing the country, his administration will continue to be resolute in its determination to overcome the challenges.
The President in his new year message, said his administration in 2022, would leverage ICT platforms to create jobs, and ensuring that the diversification of the economy creates more support to other emerging sectors.
He also said the issue of security has remained at the front burner of priority areas that his administration has given utmost attention to and that the government has invested heavily in re-equipping the military in line with upgrading the platforms and firepower required to tackle the current challenges being faced in the country.
The President enthused that several foreign investors are taking advantage of Nigeria’s ranking as one of the leading start-up ecosystems in Africa to invest in the digital economy.
He expressed happiness that despite the effect of Covid-19 pandemic on the global economy, the Gross Domestic Product, GDP, has recorded steady and positive growth.
According to President Buhari, the government realized that victory on the battlefield was one aspect of sustainable victory.
