Nigerian Navy constructs new Naval Officers’ Wives Association

The Nigerian Navy has constructed a new Naval Officers’ Wives Association, NOWA, Centre at the barracks of the Nigerian Navy Logistics Command in Ogara, Delta State.
The wife of the Chief of Naval Staff, Loveleen Lassa, inaugurated the NOWA Centre.
According to her, the Centre would serve personnel and those living in the area as it hopes to offer free training to women and provide skills acquisition for them.
She said that the employment of the women will help them contribute not only to the economic growth of Delta State but also that of Nigeria, as a whole.
