Kashim Ibrahim Fellowship, Fourth Cohort organises Community Service Week.

The Fourth Cohort of the Kashim Ibrahim fellowship also known as the class of Gamji, had their first biannual community service week with the theme; Towards an equitable and sustainable Kaduna from the 6th to 10 of December, 2021.

In an attempt to give back to the society as their corporate responsibility, they renovated the dilapidated Primary Healthcare Center

Ungwan Sanusi in Kaduna South Local Government Area, provided them equipment that will help them go digital such as iPads, flat screen television, beddings, curtains, solar panels, sanitary pads, essential drugs, refurbished ambulance and a serene working environment

Speaking to Invicta news the Director Disease Probation and Control Center Kaduna, Mr Hamza Ibrahim Ikara and the Vice Chairman of Kaduna South Local Government Area, Hon. Emir Babakari expressed their profound gratitude to the fellows and the government for such commendable initiative and described the gesture as a proof of national unity.

The Head of the Primary Healthcare Center Ungwan Sanusi, Community Leaders as well as the residents expressed their excitement and gratitude for the goodwill extended towards them.

Community Service is a key component of the Fellowship and they are committed to creating a long and lasting legacy of service to communities and will participate in community service projects throughout their one year stay in Kaduna.
