President Muhammadu Buhari advises ECOWAS leaders to tackle new challenges.

President Muhammadu Buhari has advised ECOWAS leaders to work together in order to address new and threatening challenges facing the region.
President Buhari gave the advice at the 60th Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), on Sunday, in Abuja.
Chair, ECOWAS and President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, also spoke during the Ordinary Session of the bloc.
Report says that the 60th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS was to address issues such as; the current third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and its Omicron variant, ECOWAS single currency programme, among others.
