The Federal Government said it has spent at least 29 million dollars for the procurement of the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccines.
The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, said this during an interview on National Television.
He, however, called on countries to join hands to battle the new Omicron coronavirus variant, which is gradually spreading across the world.
The Minister of Health also said that the new COVID-19 variant; Omicron, has not been classified as deadly, because there has not been any case of death or severe illness reported yet.
