The Department of State Services (DSS) has been ordered to allow the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu to have comfort while in their custody.

The Judge of the Federal High Court in Abuja, Justice Binta Nyako, gave the order on Thursday.

Nyako, among other things, asked the DSS to allow Mazi Kanu change of clothes, give him medical attention and allow him to practice his faith.

Kanu’s Counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, spoke to newsmen after the order by Justice Nyako.

Ejiofor had approached the court with an application seeking an order of the court to accommodate Kanu’s trial in November and December 2021, as against the January 19, 2022 date.
