Former Olympian bemoans state of Athletics in Nigeria.

A Former Olympian and an Olympic Bronze medallist in the 4x400m in Athens 2004, Musa Simon Audu is saddened by the way athletics has fared in Nigeria.

He was speaking exclusively to Invicta FM pointing out that the inconsistencies in the performances of the team is a source of worry and is keen to give back.

The two-time commonwealth games bronze medallist said that the constant drive and determination despite the challenges has made him look back with pride, admitting that interventions by different parties is still not bridging the gap.

Audu, who has an athletics clinic coming up in De4cemebr outlines what spurs him to action.

The meet tagged MA Athletics will come up on 11th December at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna featuring Athletics club across the state as well as secondary Schools.
