Africa Rice to priotise Women in activities.

The representative of the Africa Rice Center (AfricaRice) a pan-African Center of Excellence for rice research, development and capacity building, Mommoh Friday has revealed plans to focus on women in rice production.
He said this exclusively to Invicta News during the launch of new local rice varieties at the all green Seeds Limited, Kaduna.
The Agricultural Scientist narrated experiences that will surface with the entrance of this new variations.
He wants the Government to be fair and balanced when it comes to incentives and practical working environment especially f the researchers and scientists.
Africa Rice is one of 15 international agricultural research centers of CGIAR, a global research partnership for a food-secure future which is also an intergovernmental association of African member countries.
