One more student released from among abducted Bethel High School, Kaduna.

The Headboy of the Bethel Baptist High School Maraban Damishi, Kaduna state who was among 121 students abducted from the college on 5th July this year has regained freedom.

He was released by the bandits on Thursday night  due to his poor health condition, but after the bandits  insisted for the payment of five million Naira ransom.

Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kaduna Branch, Reverend Joseph Hayab, also one of the officials of the college, who revealed this to Journalists in Kaduna on Friday, added that the bandits are insisting for the payment of 15 million Naira ransom before the remaining three students will be released.

He wonder why telecom services were shut down for about two months when the bandits still go about on kidnap and killing spree without hindered.

121 students of the Bethel Baptist High School, Maraban Damishi, Kaduna state, were kidnapped by bandits on the 5th of July 2021.

With the latest release which makes it a total of 118, three students are yet to regain their freedom, about five months now after their ordeal with the bandits.
