Executive Secretary, KADPHCDA identifies UNICEF key in strengthening Health System.

The Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board, KADPHCDA, Dr Hamza Abubakar, has identified UNICEF as one of the veritable partners in the execution and strengthening of health system in the State.
He stated this in an interview with Invicta News at a two-day program for 2021 end of year review and planning meeting, organized by the Kaduna State Government in conjunction with UNICEF Kaduna Field Office.
Dr Hamza outlined some of the areas that UNICEF has been of great support to the agency.
The Executive Secretary also said the agency equally has made giant strides in upgrades of PHCs.
He pointed out that Covid-19 pandemic slowed the execution of some vital projects and expressed hope that all will be carried out in 2022.
Dr Hamza added that the State Government recruited one thousand two hundred and twenty-five additional health workers and an approval to recruit 1,834 more workers in 2022.
