Senator says Nigerian politicians afraid of Western Sanctions.

A Member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Senator Shehu Sani said politicians in Nigeria are afraid of western sanctions more than the laws in the country.
Senator Sani said this, on Sunday, when he appeared on National Television after the visit of the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to President Muhammadu Buhari.
While noting previous killings witnessed in other parts of the country, he said that what made the #EndSARS incident unique is that the protesters came out peacefully, raising the national flag.
It would be recalled that Mr. Blinken had during his two-day official visit to Nigeria said the report by the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Restitution for the Victims of #EndSARS protest was important.
He had also said that the United States was awaiting the actions which would be taken afterward.
