Leaders care less for its citizens in Nigeria – Mathias Sado

Written by on November 23, 2021

Nigeria has been described as a country where leaders are always suppressing the citizens, while presenting themselves as good as perfect through the help of social media.

This was captured by the Convener of Hope Platform Initiative and also a one-time presidential candidate of the Action Democratic Party (ADP) Mr. Mathias Sado in a chat on Invicta FM lamenting the slow progress made one year after the ENDSARS protest which has been in an inconclusive state.

He harped on the need for the government to be sincere in their dealings, he also hailed the prowess of social media.

Ado lamented that politics in Nigeria tends to be about occupying high position in government, rather than loved the people and is aghast that the youths are left out on the issues of politics.

The damning report by the Lagos State Government panel set up to investigate the Lekki toll gate shooting has brought global attention on the need for better governance model.
