A Permanent Commissioner, Kaduna State Peace Commission, Barrister Rebecca Sako-John, has described the choice of Chikun and Kajuru Local Government as pilot areas for the establishment of early warning; early response (EWER) collaborative Forum and community safety partners as a step in the right direction in reducing communal violent conflicts.

She disclosed this in an interview with Newsmen, shortly after the establishment of EWER collaborative Forum and community safety partners in Kaduna by a Non-Governmental Organization, Centre for Law Enforcement in Nigeria (CLEEN Foundation).

The Permanent Commissioner said the initiative would go a long way in preventing conflicts.

Barrister Sako-John also spoke on what the Kaduna Peace Commissioner has been doing since 2017.

It could be recalled that CLEEN Foundation established early warning; early response (EWER) collaborative Forum and community safety partners in Kaduna, Plateau, Taraba and Zamfara States, which is to run for a two-year period.
