Lack of Shared Humanity, missing factor in Nigerian Politics – Jide Ojo
Written by News Room on November 10, 2021
The Shared humanity is a missing factor among the political class in Nigeria which has fueled a spate of social undesirables in the country.
During a telephone conversation with a Public Affairs Analyst and Author Jide Ojo on Invicta’s flagship Political Programme Perspectives.
He observed that the country’s problems were more than rhetorics as the action and inaction of the leaders has made crime and criminality enticing.
Ojo wants ethics brought back into the Nigerian political culture because, so that the human dignity can be respected and celebrated.
The strong attention to the Kinetic approach by the government and not a combination of a more robust multi strata approach is not healthy for the Newspaper columnist.
Inspite of this, he commended the Federal Government for the Social investment programme just as he wants more to be done because poverty for him in Nigeria is endemic.
