SMEDAN Carries out Sensitization Training of Entrepreneurship to Solar Power Trainees in Kaduna State.

The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN) has carried out a sensitization training of entrepreneurship to Solar Power trainees from Kauru Local Council of Kaduna State.
Speaking on the A-Z of starting your own business, the Kaduna State Manager of SMEDAN, Malam Badamasi Ya’u Barau said SMEDAN is providing 2,300 Conditional Grant Scheme business to indigenes of Kaduna for entrepreneurship.
On his part, the Coordinator of the training, who is also the Youth Coordinator of Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU), Kauru Local Government, said the training was to empower trainers on Solar Power installation and related business enterprise.
Some of the trainees also spoke on the benefit of the training and their readiness to maximize it in the establishment of their businesses for self-reliance.
A representative of the Bank of lndustry (BOI), Malama Sa’adatu was on hand to give the trainees a guide on different categories of SME loans that can assist people to start, establish and or expand their businesses in the least way possible so that they can also help in the creation of employment.
